Human resources with their wealth of knowledge and skills are endowed with a uniqueness that generates value for the company. The person must always be at the center, whatever his role and position: this is the only way to make each person accountable and encourage them to do their best.

Jessica Braiola, Tonello’s Assistant Manager at Sales Department, tells us about her personal and professional growth in which the company has always played a fundamental role.

How long have you worked at Tonello and what role do you play there?

I have been working at Tonello for more than 15 years, and I have always held the role of assistant manager at sales department. Specifically, I’m in charge of maintaining relations with customers by providing them with all the necessary assistance, but not only. Among other things, I take care of organizing the sales team’s trips and drafting purchase orders.

What does your work mean to you? What about the Tonello Company?

It’s a daily challenge with myself: it allows me to grow and to learn. In certain situations, it’s like a breath of fresh air. It allows me to “escape” from everyday thoughts, from routine. This may sound strange to some ears, but I’m sincere in saying that in all these years I have never considered my work monotonous and uninspiring, but on the contrary exciting and fun.

Tonello is certainly a reality that has allowed me to mature, both in my professional and private life.

How is your relationship with your colleagues?

Relationship with colleagues is amazing! And I’m not exaggerating, but it’s because it really is. A good part of the day is spent with my colleagues, and it’s only natural that after all this time I consider them pretty much like a second family.

What was the most exciting moment in your history at Tonello? What was the most difficult one?

The most exciting moments were those of the first fairs. In particular, ITMA 2015 comes to mind: I experienced it as a springboard, an opportunity that allowed me to go beyond my daily routine, to relate with the customer face to face, and not standing behind a phone! That’s why I think it also coincided with the most difficult moments for me: I managed to overcome my fears and insecurities, and I definitely came out a winner!

What should Tonello do to promote growth?

I think it’s already doing a lot. Here we never stop, both in terms of innovation and attention to people. We always try to keep up with market demands, sometimes anticipating them and creating new needs. And this has undoubtedly allowed us to get as far as we have, and to elevate ourselves as a company.

What do you think is the Tonello’s greatest strength and weakness?

I would like to mention two of them: one of the strengths certainly lies in the people, in the group, in the coalition. The other, as I said before, lies in the unstoppable evolution and technological progress that has always characterized us. The risks? We cannot know, unfortunately there are always some around the corner! But let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞

Among the different corporate values, which one are you most attached to?

Passion. I always put passion into what I do, starting with my work: if it were lacking, I wouldn’t be so stimulated to give more than what is asked of me.
