Smart Creation Selection at Denim PV Milan
JournalAnother Inspiring project: a visionary denim collection by Denim PV incorporating techno-fabrics and unexpected materials as told by Italian designer Kristian Guerra, involving also 20 smart companies. Creating surprising visuals and innovative disruptions that are over tuning our world and our means of moving forward. The installation will be one of the coolest events of the first Milan edition of Denim PV, taking place from May 28 to 29.
Kristian Guerra, co- founder with his sister Laura Guerra of the conceptual brand and creative platform Ice Surface Temperature, will embrace digital technology to create surprising visuals, innovative disruptions and push back boundaries, to champion global connections between cultures and ideas. The project will be structured around three main themes: Human connection, Digital imperfection and Augmented perception.
These concepts will be elaborated on different types of fabrics and materials with the help of our sustainable finishing technology: we will use the Laser Blaze, to reproduce intricate patterns, textures and rips realized and imagined by the designer and the All-in-One system, All-in-One to create a wide range of diversified washes and finishes in a fully responsible way. Finally, with Metro, our brand new software, we will be measuring, with complete transparency, all the real data relating to the consumption used for each individual garment and process, as the machine itself will supply the data, guaranteeing the accuracy and truthfulness.
With this project, we will once again celebrate the thousands of potential expressions of denim and technology, emphasizing their multi-directional, multi-sensorial, multi-medial and multi-dimensional expansion with an original combination of machines and fashion, digital and physical.
