Tonello at Genova Jeans
JournalFour days dedicated to next-generation jeans culture
From October 5 to 8, Genoa becomes the benchmark for the jeans community, in the name of responsible design and innovation. An event with an unconventional format that looks to the future of this iconic garment.
On the strength of its glorious past and the more recent one that has seen Italians play a leading role in the transformation of jeans into a fashion garment, Genoa, to which jeans owes its name, launches a new message that encapsulates the culture of responsibility, in creating and producing, generating beauty.
The four-day event will bring into the spotlight brands and companies that represent manufacturing and style excellence nationally and internationally.
Presented in the form of group exhibitions in the manner of works of art, heritage brands, new creatives and the Made in Italy supply chain, including Tonello, will compose the GenovaJeans journey
Laser, washing, dyeing: Tonello means excellence
Present with a dedicated corner showcasing the Made in Italy Production Chain at the former St. Thomas Oratory, Tonello will present the results of its Laundry (R)Evolution, the laundry concept of today and tomorrow, which redefines standards and points the way for the evolution of the entire industry.
In fact, only a few machines are needed to manage the entire production flow, which thus becomes even smoother and more streamlined, allowing productivity to be reconciled with maximum attention to the environment. New computer vision systems also govern the cycle and thus make work even easier and safer.
This includes:
- THE Laser, the most complete and innovative range of laser machines ever. From the smallest THE Laser Lab, designed for stores and laboratories, to THE Laser T, developed for horizontal processing and equipped with the latest version of the automatic garment detection system, B.O.P.
- All-in-One, the Tonello washing machine par excellence, that is, equipped with all sustainable finishing technologies (EGO, NoStone, UP, Core)
- Metro, the software for measuring real laundry consumption, including those of garments and processes, and for centralized management and analysis of all Tonello machines.
It will also be a pleasure to participate in the conversation titled “BEYOND BLUE: WAVES OF CHANGE” to be held on Friday, October 6, at the Genoa University Library, from 6-7 p.m. During this event, we will discuss the central role of so-called “blue gold” in contemporary society. We will begin with the birth of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the Oceans, an initiative that started in Genoa and landed at the United Nations last September. Next, we will explore concrete and measurable industry efforts to significantly reduce environmental impacts and water use.
