Denim, people, and the beauty of doing things together
On October 15th, during Kingpins Amsterdam, we shared a special evening together with Officina39 at Denim City: An Italian Affair.
A private event, an intimate moment to reconnect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the simple beauty of being together, the Italian way.
The House of Denim Foundation transformed into a space filled with light, warmth, and conversation. Guests enjoyed Italian flavors, music, and the pleasure of meeting friends old and new.
It wasn’t about grand gestures, just the right mix of authenticity, curiosity, and creativity that defines our community.

Tonello and Officina39: shared visions, sustainable futures
The highlight of the evening was a fashion performance: a story told through denim. The garments moved across the space, carrying with them the ideas that guide our daily work: innovation, responsibility, and collaboration.
Each piece was finished using Tonello’s most advanced sustainable technologies: Laundry (R)Evolution, All-in-One System and Core 2.0, developed to transform the way denim is designed and produced.
Together with Officina39 and their pioneering dye and finishing solutions, we explored new ways to give denim meaning, reducing impact without losing character. Less water, fewer chemicals, more creativity. It’s a path made of choices: small, precise, and intentional. Choices that keep pushing us toward a more conscious way of making.
An Italian Affair was a reminder of what drives us: people, passion, and the continuous search for better ways to create. Because at the heart of every fabric and every finish, there’s always a story: one that begins with connection.
